Charles Rathell started the business in Cordova, MD located right off US Rt.50. The dealership A.B.C. Farm Equipment Company, a J.I. Case dealership involved many great employees including Jeff, his son. The A.B.C. name was known well for quality service, products and parts. In the 1980's A.B.C. Farm Equipment took on the Ford product line. New Holland implements were taken on several years before.
In 1995 Jeff Rathell took over the business from his father and A.B.C. Farm Equipment Company became Rathell Farm Equipment Company, Incorporated. The new name still offered the same great service, products and employees to serve the community. With all of these great assets, Rathell Farm Equipment is a great company to deal with offering New Holland Equipment from grass mowers to combines and several other lines and shortlines.
